Waiver Form Download
1. Q: Can non-military players use the paintball park?
A: Yes. Civilians can play as guests. Tell the guard at the gate you are going
to the Paintball Park. He will want to see your driver's license, registration,
and proof of vehicular insurance. If the guard asks who is your sponsor, give
him the name of your military friend or tell him it is an "MCCS sponsored
event."
2. Q: Is there an age limit?
A: No. However, as a general rule, we do not recommend paintball for kids under
10 years old. We leave it to the parents to decide if their child is mature
enough to play. You know your child better than we do, and you must co-sign his
waiver form. Any youngster who wishes to play paintball must be mature enough
to follow our simple safety rules. We have very-little-to-no-patience with
childish, unsafe behavior.
3. Do we have storage lockers?
A: Yes. The rental fee is $5.00 for the day. All our 2' X 2' X 4' lockers
have built-in key locks.
4. Q: Do we fill H.P. gas cylinders as well as CO2?
A: Yes we fill both. The charge is $5 per fill (up to 4500psi) and $5 per CO2 refill (any size canister). We also offer all day air for
both CO2 and HP for $10
5. Q: Is there a phone at the paintball park?
A: No. The nearest public phone is a mile away at the McDonalds. Additionally,
the paintball facility is in a box canyon where most cellular phone signals are
difficult to send/receive.
6. Q: Do we accept Credit Cards?
A: YES. Visa, MC, AMEX and Discover
7: What is a private group?
A: By "private," we mean your group will not mix in with other
walk-on players. You will have your own ref staff and you will rotate through
the different fields during the day. Also, private groups receive a discount on
rentals. But you must have at least 15 players (total combined renters and non-renters)
in your group, and you must reserve at least a week in advance by calling and
giving a CC number over the phone. The CC will not be charged unless you don’t
show up.
8. Q: Can non-renters (players with their own gear) reserve a private
group session?
A: Yes. The admission is $20 per day for a non-renter, and a minimum of 15
players (renters and non-renters combined) are required for a private group.
9. Q: Are there different levels of walk-on play?
A: Yes. We divide walk-on players into either Beginner,
Intermediate and Advanced groups. We separate players based on skill level and
equipment technology. Players with high-tech Angels, AutoCockers,
etc. or with electronic-trigger paintuns must play in Advanced walk-on groups. The Beginner walk-on group is
for young, less-experienced players with standard field-rental level paintguns.
10. Q: Can walk-ons play by themselves on a field without referees?
A: Absolutely not. Walk-on players must stay in the assigned groups under the
supervision of field referees.
11. Q: How often do we chrono?
A: We chronograph all paintguns before each day of
play. Payers are responsible for their markers, and keeping them at the correct
speed. No exceptions! If you do not chronograph, you will not be allowed to
play. Our chrono limit is 290 fps.
12. Q: What other paintgun technology
restrictions do we have?
A: No full-auto or select-fire paintguns; semi-auto
only (one shot per one pull and release of the trigger). All paintguns must have a trigger guard. All paintguns must have a barrel safety sock. NOTE: No barrel
plugs. Only sock covers w/lanyards are allowed.
13. Q: Can players bring their own paintballs?
A: Yes and no. If you rent our paintguns, you must
use our paintballs. If you bring your own paintgun,
you can use your paintballs (but no blood-red or pink fills and no paint that
stains). We require you shoot only our premium quality, freshly manufactured
paintballs in our paintguns. This prevents problems
with jamming, ball breakage and poor accuracy that can happen with old or
out-of-round or improperly sized paintballs. We've had too many problems in the
past with renters shooting poor-quality paintballs out of our paintguns. They were not happy with these problems and
neither were we. Our premium-quality paintballs are comparably priced with
stores or fields in the SoCal area.
14. Q: Do you have walk-on play on weekdays?
A: Fridays. Usually during holidays or special events. Please check our calendar or call for more info.
15. Q: Are any tournaments or big games held at the Paintball Park?
A: Yes. Usually there are one or two special events and/or tournaments each
year. Check the bulletin board at the sign-in desk or the EVENTS link on this
web site for information.
16. Q: Is there a retail store at the field?
A: Not really. We sell the minimum basics: squeegees, paint, barrel socks, etc.
Often there will be one or two used paintguns posted
for sale, but we do not stock the variety of paintball gear you will find at a
retail store. Also, our paintgun repairs are limited
to the type of paintguns we rent, we do not stock spare parts for all the other paintguns.
17. Q: Do you close if it's raining?
A: Nope. Paintball is fun in all weather conditions.
18. Q: Do you serve food at the paintball park?
A: We have candy bars, sodas, water, and Gatorade for sale at the park. Sometimes
we bring in a food stand that makes burgers and lunch packages. You can bring
your own food or go to the McDonalds down the street for lunch. Domino's pizza
(760-725-1856) delivers to the field.
